Hello friends! This is my first Wedding Wednesday blog post after tying the knot, and I am so excited to kick things off with today’s post, because it involves my happy place…that’s right, Drybar! Honestly, I love Drybar and I couldn’t think of more capable hands to make my hair look its best on my big day. but, I’m getting ahead of myself, so let’s rewind a bit…
It was about a year ago, and I was sitting in my legal communication class at UCLA (wow, seems like another lifetime ago!) and I was stressing over everything having to do with my wedding. At this point, the venue and my dress were locked down, but with 9 months to go, I was feeling the pressure to get more details for the wedding locked down. Of course, my wedding hair was high on my list of to-do’s, but I also knew that I was going to have a hard time finding someone that I could trust to make my hair look exactly how I wanted. What I did know was exactly the style I wanted: Old Hollywood-style waves worn down, but swept to one side. As I began my search for a hairstylist that specialized in this style, I just got completely overwhelmed…how to choose? That’s when I had a thought…Drybar has this exact style in their menu! Does Drybar do wedding hair? Mind you, I was supposed to be taking notes and paying attention to a lecture on false witness testimony at this moment, but instead, I got on the ol’ Google, and there it was, the answer I’d been looking for…indeed, Drybar does do wedding hair!

After a little bit of looking around their site, I learned that they can accomodate entire wedding parties, either on location at a Drybar, or at your wedding venue. I really needed on site stylists, so the fact that they could come to me and work their Drybar magic on me and all my girls was just a bonus.
Of course, I was sold, so I booked Drybar for myself and my girls right away. Drybar got me all set up with a time and place to have my hair trial, just to make sure that I got the exact look I was going for on my wedding date. My stylish, Laura Boldi, came to my home, I told her exactly what I wanted, and she delivered. I was completely at ease and stress free when it came to my wedding hair, because I knew I was going to be capable hands.
The last piece of the puzzle was my bridesmaids. I honestly did not care what style they had, as long as it suited them and they felt beautiful in it. Maybe I’m a horrible bride, but I essentially left it up to them to have in mind what they wanted. Each one took her turn in the seat and communicated with their stylist what they wanted, and each one came out looking gorgeous! Drybar offers the full range of their styles when it comes to their wedding hair…you or your squad can choose from blowouts, uptinis, or braids for the big day. I have no regrets whatsoever for having all their hair professionally done, because everyone looked phenomenal! Just take a look at what a beautiful bunch of ‘maids I had:
I can’t recommend going with Drybar on your wedding day enough…if these are the stylists you trust on a regular basis to get you looking your best for other events in your life, why wouldn’t you trust them to get you ready for the most important day of your life? I truly felt like an Old Hollywood movie star, which is exactly what I was going for…all thanks to Drybar! Make sure to check out their wedding hair services here!
