As our big day gets nearer, we are definitely feeling that crunch time is upon us! There is literally still so much we need to do, but thank goodness, because we finally got our wedding bands squared away. If you will remember back to when we got engaged, Nate had my engagement ring custom made, so of course we wanted to get something that was equally as special and unique for our wedding bands. There are so many things today that are mass-produced, including wedding bands and rings. We wanted jewelry we will both be wearing for life to just feel more special than something you could go down to a major retailer and pick up, so after a little searching, we discovered Jack Kelége.
Jack Kelege is a jewelry designer based out of Los Angeles, and has been in the business since 1972. He is fiercely committed to the quality of each and every one of his pieces and it definitely shows. Jack is both the designer and manufacturer of his collections and additionally has some of the best bench jewelers in the world who were chosen and mentored for years by Jack himself. He truly makes painstaking effort to ensure that each one of his pieces is exceptional. His collections are not cut by machines and mass produced, but rather are hand cut. This attention to detail is ultimately the reason we decided to have our rings designed by Jack and I know they will definitely be something we both will love to wear for the rest of our lives.
Nate and I were fortunate enough to get to visit Jack’s showroom to talk about what we wanted and try on different styles. Jack truly made us feel like family and made the entire experience so easy and stress free. I decided to go with this delicate 18k white gold band with brilliant cut white diamonds. You can check out all the details for this ring here!
Nate is a little hesitant to start wearing a ring, mostly because he never wears jewelry, so it was important that we found a ring for him that was both timeless but also something that would wear well over time as he works with his hands. He ultimately went with this ring, but customized it to be white gold all over.
Your wedding bands are something that you will wear every day, for the rest of your life, so it really is important to find something that is special and will stand the test of time. I would absolutely recommend checking out more of Jack Kelége’s designs for yourself if and when you are in the market for an engagement ring or wedding bands.
