News flash: patches are back, y’all! My most recent trip to Zara was confirmation of this: patches were on everything from purses, to backpacks, to jackets…even pants! I decided that while I love this trend, I didn’t feel like spending a whole hell of a lot of money on it at Zara, so I jumped on Etsy and started shopping iron on patches there. There were seriously so many different ones to choose from, so I was able to pick some really awesome patches that I feel express my personality best. I decided to patch up an old, slightly oversized Forever 21 denim jacket I had lying around, and it could’ve have been easier to do…check out my video below where I walk you through it!
Ok, enough about that, back to the outfit! This star-printed dress was definitely an awesome find as I have been looking for something like this! (BTW…its less than $25!) Its a little bit on the short side on me because I am a little taller, so I decided to wear it with my brand new Shoedazzle metallic oxfords to keep it classy and daytime appropriate. I’m really loving the juxtaposition of this print with the patches on my jacket, I think it gives the look a really fun and playful vibe.
