Sometimes, you just need a good go-to cute top and jeans combo. In moments of indecision, doubt, and otherwise wardrobe uncertainty, the “cute top and jeans” combo will never steer you wrong. When you have that fail-safe combo, you can quickly reach it when it is time to go out. I fall back on these wardrobe combos constantly because I just don’t always have strokes of sartorial genuius. Let’s face it, by the time date night rolls around on Friday, my brain is completely fried from the previous week. I will sit in my closet full of clothes and think to myself…”I’ve got nothing to wear!” I don’t think this thought is rational by any means…I’ve got tons to wear! I think what it comes down to is a bit of overwhelm and lack of brain power to come up with an outfit that feels right.
This is why I love collecting beautiful blouses like this one that make your old pair of jeans look bomb. You’ve definitely got to have a couple unique blouses in your wardrobe that aren’t your basic button down, because nobody wants to be basic on a Friday night. I love this blouse because it hits all the bases as far as current trends go: it has cold shoulders (or is it off the shoulder?!), floral embroidery, sheerness, and ruffles. The beauty of this is that once you have this combo down, all you have to do is pick out your heels and you’re ready for a Friday night out on the town. Make sure to check out hte links below to shop these pieces! What is your go-to date night look?
