It is December, can you freakin’ believe it?! This year has flown by so fast, I can’t even comprehend it. December is always a busy time…holiday parties, holiday shopping, family get togethers, and, for me….finals! Ugh, I am so ready for all these tests and papers to be behind me, I have been pretty stressed about it all. I am taking a little study break to share this fun outfit idea with you, because I could definitely use a diversion right now! First of all, I just want to say, I know these pictures are not taken in the most…ahem…aesthetic of settings, but, when it finally decides to rain in Los Angeles and you need to take pictures, you find a covered setting and roll with it, even if it is the second story of your local shopping plaza! As they say, the show must go on. I have been looking for a good blazer dress for a good minute now, and this one was literally so perfect so I snagged it. I love the idea of this look, it almost looks like you stole a man’s jacket and threw it on with your heels. Blazer dresses will ensure that you stand out in the sea of velvet and sequins that will most certainly be everywhere this holiday season. Plus, it is so comfortable, you will never be tugging or pulling at anything all night long…score!
I love pairing this relatively simple, boyish dress with some girly accessories. These bow flats are literally my go-to heels for the holiday season. They are a couple years old, but I have a similar pair linked below, so make sure to go to the end of this post to check those out! As for this clutch, I have not been able to get enough of it since I purchased it last summer. Seriously, if you don’t have a leopard clutch, do yourself a favor and get one because they really go with everything, in my opinion. Honestly, leopard print is a neutral in my book.
