So this last week, something super exciting happened: I signed back up for Rent the Runway Unlimited! What is Rent the Runway Unlimited, you might ask? Well, it is my little secret for
rocking designer clothing without breaking the bank. Here’s how it works: You pay a fee of $159 (but I have a code to save $100, you can find it at the end of this post!), and each month you get a rotating wardrobe of 4 items (5 if you want to pay a little extra!) at a time to wear to your heart’s desire for as long as you like. Think of it like when Netflix was old school and you got two dvd’s at a time. Its the same concept, but with clothing and accessories, many of which are amazing designer pieces.
Let me break down how this all works: you can wear your Rent the Runway items once and send them back for new things or you can keep them for a little longer if you would like. But what if you love something so much you DON’T want to send it back?! Well, Rent the Runway has you covered there too! If you love a piece so much you want to give it a forever home, you can purchase it at a discount. I did this once with a pair of pants that I got tons of compliments on, and I have no regrets whatsoever.
I love this service so much because you can really get to change up your wardrobe as much as you want without shopping and buying stuff you might only wear once. Thanks to social media, everyone seems to be super conscious of not wanting to wear pieces multiple times if you’ve already posted on the gram’….right?! If you disagree, let me know down below in the comments, but I have noticed my own blogger friends even feel this way! RTR Unlimited gives you the ability to not be an outfit repeater, how can you not love that?
This Monique Lhullier polka dot dress and Yuzefi bag are from my latest order and I am in love with them both. The dress retails for $495 and the bag retails for $575, and as fab as they both are, I could never justify spending that kind of coin on clothing. That’s why I truly love RTR because I get to dabble in cool designers I love without going broke in the process. If you want to try out RTR Unlimited, I couldn’t recommend it more. Just for you all, my lovely blog readers, I have a code to save you $50 off your first two months, which means you save $100 total! Just use code RTRJESSICAM at check out!
Ok, so I know I’m here to talk about Rent the Runway, but I also have to talk about the rest of this look, mostly the shoes! Guys, these sandals are so funky and they kind of remind me of Fendi…I’m not sure if they’re a direct dupe or not, but aren’t they just eye catching? I actually found these at Shein and they are so affordable, plus, if you have big feet like me, they have you covered!
I also wanted to share that this post is in collaboration with another amazing blogger, Thalita! We both decided to style polka dots in our own way for summer, so make sure you check out her blog post where she styles her favorite way to wear polka dots in summer…go check out her post here!
If you’d like to see another outfit where I rocked polka dots on basically the exact same street, check out this blog post!
