New York Fashion Week day 2, here we are! My second day at NYFW was jam packed…I literally only ate one meal and ran like a crazy person all over Manhattan. But before we get to all that, let’s get to this outfit, which I wore for the first third of the day. This look was definitely one that was thrown together at the last minute before I left for NYFW. I ran to Forever 21 just to check and see if there was anything I needed to grab before my trip, and happened upon this top, bralette, and skirt and figured that this was actually a really great way to get the Dior look I’ve been loving for much less cash. Here’s my inspo so you can catch my drift:
You see where I am going with this, right?
So my bralette doesn’t say Christian Dior, but it does say Feminist, and that’s pretty cool in my book. Also, it was only $15, as opposed to over $1000 so yeah, I think I’ll keep that money in the bank, thank you very much!
This skirt was also a fab find as patent leather anything is kind of huge this fall. Make sure you get yourself a skirt or some patent leather booties to try this fun trend out!
These photos were shot on the Highline in Soho. I absolutely love this space, it is such a tranquil and beautiful area in the middle of the bustling city. Apparently, this used to be a train track that they repurposed as a green space. If you find yourself in lower Manhattan, you have to take a little break and check it out.

Alright, back to the NYFW coverage, shall we? On day two, I woke up and headed to a shoot bright and early in the morning. After completing that, I went down to the Seaport District to pop backstage at the Tibi show to see the looks and get my hair styled by Aveda. It was my first time backstage at a NYFW show, and I loved the energy! Everyone is running around, making sure everything is perfect for showtime.
After Tibi, I had to run back to the hotel to change and get to my next show, Yuna Yang. Luckily, the venue was not too far from our hotel. I’m glad I changed into this feminine Nicole Miller Dress from my earlier outfit, because this show was super girly and feminine.
The entire show was gorgeous, but this look definitely was my favorite! I am desperately in need of this bomber in my life! Also…these boots!
After Yuna Yang, it was time for wardrobe change number three before heading out to the Liketoknow.it and Lulu’s parties, and then later the Philipp Plein show.
I am in love with this look! I really had fun and let my adventurous flag fly here. This jacket was a bit of a gamble, but I think it looks incredible and I got so many compliments on it all night.

After all the parties, it was off to Philipp Plein. Let me tell you, this show was a total madhouse. We barely got into it as there was a line down the block of people who all claimed to have tickets. The guest list was definitely star studded, as Nicki Minaj and 50 Cent were in attendance. Future performed during the show:
I’m not going to lie though, the thing I loved most about this show was getting to see Dita Von Tease perform live. I’ve been such a fan of her’s for so long, so to see her in action in person was pretty cool!
Immediately after the show, the venue basically transformed into a night club for the after party. I didn’t hesitate to jump up on the runway to grab some pictures:
That concludes my NYFW day two, I hope you enjoyed!
