Happy Wedding Wednesday everyone! This is my official first Wedding Wednesday post as a married lady, which is pretty crazy to even type! As my first entry into my wedding archives in my post married life, I wanted to share my eternal distaste for wedding guest books and how I made ours into something that I loved. Seriously, who needs a blank book in which people just sign their names. That, to me, is an old school thing that I had no time for. That’s when I discovered the beauty that is Artifact Uprising.
In case you are not aware, Artifact Uprising is a site where you can take your most treasured, beautiful photos, and create lifetime, dare I say heirloom level memories. Photos, photo books, cards… you name it. I knew I wanted to make our guest book into a photo book, but I was very insistent that our photo book/guest book be beautiful and something we would love forever. Our wedding guest book had to be something classic and that would stand the test of time. Artifact Uprising definitely delivers on that with their beautiful binding and lay flat pages. I chose to take my favorite from our engagement shoot and create a beautiful photo book in which guests could sign their names and notes yearbook style.
This wedding guest book is something that we can display proudly on our coffee table for the rest of our lives and that will never look out of place or out of style. Seriously, you can’t get more luxe than these Artifact Uprising books. Another thing I love about these books are the thick, heavy card stock they print your photos on. It really gives a beautiful weight to the book and each page, which in turn creates a much more memorable book that will survive into future generations and age with grace.
I also love how easy it was to create our wedding guest book with Artifact Uprising. They have easy to use templates on their site that you can choose from and arrange in any order you would like to create the most ideal book for your needs. I can’t wait to get our wedding photos back so that I can create our wedding guest book photo album. Until then, please enjoy these photos of our wedding guest album and also, if you want, check out my post where I talk about all the fun ways you can utilize your engagement photoshoot, and your wedding guest book is a great way to do just that if you’re looking to create a photo book.
