If there’s one thing I consistently get asked about, it is my ‘do! I will be the first person to admit, my hair is one of my favorite features. I’ve always had long, thick, strong hair, but lately my beloved mane has been going through all kinds of abuse. I’ve been coloring my hair almost monthly for the last couple years, and I use heat styling tools such as a curling iron or hair dryer several times a week; all of those things together have really taken their toll and resulted in more bad hair days than I’d like to admit. I’d been trying product after product, trying to see if anything would give me back the beautiful, shiny hair I once loved, but was just about to pull my hair out in frustration…nothing was working! I heard about the Pantene 14 Day Challenge and decided to give it a try.
Here is the before of my hair…not super terrible, but not great either! My hair had little shine, and my ends were always going haywire. It just looked kinda blah and lifeless.
For my Pantene 14 Day Challenge, I went with the Pantene Repair & Protect Shampoo and Conditioner, along with the 10 in 1 Beauty Balm, which says it is a “healthy hair miracle solution”….I’ll bite! If you also have long hair, are coloring often, prone to breakage, and doing a lot of heat styling, this combo is the way to go.
First thoughts on day 1 of the Pantene 14 Day Challenge was how silky my hair felt before I even stepped out of the shower and how easy it was to brush through my hair post-shower. After drying it, it had none of the gross dryness that it had before, just a sleekness that I was excited for!
After a week, I was really starting to notice a difference. My hair was touchable and silky, with more shine and brilliance. This is usually a sign that your hair is getting healthier from the inside out. I was stoked to see where the Pantene 14 Day Challenge would take me.
Today marks day 14 of my Pantene 14 Day Challenge! Honestly, I can’t believe how far my hair has come in just two short weeks! Believe it or not, two weeks is all you need to start seeing a lasting change in your hair and a great hair day more often. I find that I don’t need to wash my hair as much, because my hairstyles last longer as my hair is not being weighed down by buildup of shampoos and conditioners that aren’t right for my hair. Just like any change, I am ready to make this a lifestyle. My hair feels and looks healthy and I am not going back! Walmart has a great deal on this collection here.
