This is definitely one blog post I never thought I would write…getting Gameday Glam! I have honestly never really cared for football, in fact, my dad and I used to fight over the TV on Sunday’s because football games always seemed to coincide with figure skating. As you could probably guess, my dad won those battles. Every time. This naturally made me just in general never want to watch football, so I never paid much attention to it. That, coupled with the fact that our household wasn’t huge on any college teams, well, you get the picture.

Fast forward a couple years to now, where I find myself at a huge university that LOVES their team. Naturally, I’ve kind of gotten into this whole school spirit thing. It started slowly, and has definitely escalated more than I could have anticipated. I actually was yelling at the TV during the UCLA/USC game like all the other crazies whom I used to think were so hilarious.

Getting game day glam to go cheer on UCLA is so much more than putting on an old college t-shirt. I mean, obviously, do you even know me?! I don’t go out without my makeup, hair, and outfit on point, and that definitely goes for tailgating, or going to a watch party. A lot of people would like you to think that a sporting event is not a time to get glammed up. To them I say, bah humbug, it is the perfect time to spruce up your beauty routine!

One way I love getting game day glam is by adding a little extra something to my hair. I start out with curling it, as usual, but I don’t stop there. L’Oreal Paris recently came out with this awesome Colorista Spray 1-Day Color that is so much fun and perfect for any game day glam situation. It comes in all kinds of colors, and is super easy to apply. Literally, just hold out the strands you want to accent, spray, and voila! I decided to go metallic and apply this sparkly silver, but there are so many colors to choose from that go with whatever team’s colors you love to sport! I love that I can play around with all these fun colors without the commitment, or killing my hair with bleach!

Another fab way to get yourself glammed up for the game is grabbing a fun lip color. I love wearing a bright shade on my lips to really pop my whole look. The L’Oreal Infallible Lip paints have been a favorite of mine for a while, because they come in 14 different shades different shades, and are so lightweight to wear. I love how pigmented these colors are, you really don’t need much product to really deliver a punch of color.

Although it didn’t quite go with the look I was going for on this particular day, the INFALLIBLE® PAINTS/LIPS Matte Liquid Lipstick is one of my go-to’s. I love a matte lip, and I especially love a matte lip that doesn’t dry the hell out of my lips. These lip paints go on super smooth and pigmented. For those days when I’m feeling really extra, I liked to layer the INFALLIBLE® PAINTS/LIPS Metallic Liquid Lipstick over the matte color to get that high shine, metallic look that is really on trend right now.

Of course, no gameday glam look could be complete without a cute outfit that expresses your school spirit, am I right? I like to keep it comfy and chic because the last thing you want to do is wear something fussy while you’re trying to cheer on your team. This bright yellow moto jacket kept me warm when the sun went down and goes perfectly with that blue and gold!
