When the temps start to dip, over-sized, chunky sweaters can be your best friend. I mean, if you must leave the house and look presentable, they’re the next best thing after wrapping yourself in warm blanket. However, I personally feel like chunky knits can be hard to pull off. If you aren’t rail thin, the bulkiness that is inherent in these cozy numbers can add more volume to your frame. My solution is to make sure that whatever you are wearing on bottom is form fitting, whether that is a pair of skinny jeans, leggings, or in this case, a pencil skirt. This helps balance out the proportion of a big sweater to create a more flattering look.
