Ok, maybe I am being a little presumptuous when I assume that this is the “cool” way to style a leopard coat. As a disclaimer, I do not think that I am that “cool girl.” In fact, I honestly feel that I am constantly aspiring to be that girl. You know who she is. She has the most amazing street style at NYFW. Her outfits are unexpected and fresh in ways that you could’ve never conceived of. I took that girl in mind when I put this look together because don’t we all want to look like the hottest street style mavens? Leopard print coats are one of those tougher pieces to style that the street style girls seem to wear effortlessly. It is hard to toe the line between cool and trashy with these. One of the key things to NOT wear with these is probably a super sexy dress, or anything too racy. I went with a more rocker vibe and styled it with my boyfriend’s Foo Fighters t-shirt and some leather leggings.  This coat would look equally as awesome with a slouchy white t-shirt and some distressed denim. What I’m trying to get at is the more casual you can keep the rest of your outfit, you’ll start to achieve that street-style cool that everyone is trying to achieve.

Now that we’ve established the way to style this leopard print coat, let’s talk about this purse. If you have a keen eye and know what you’re looking at, you will know that it looks very near to a Chanel Boy bag, but it is not, in fact, a Chanel. While I would have a Chanel in a heartbeat if I could afford it, or even justify affording it, I can’t, so I think this is the next best thing. Yes, it is an imitation but if you are at a point in your life when you’re still dreaming of owning one of these bags and can’t, this bag is a great option, and its less than $40!
