The last time I was at Coachella was 2009. Let me tell you, it was so different back then (wow, that last sentence just made me feel SO OLD omg). In 2009, you didn’t have to wait for
hours “in line” on your computer to buy a ticket, you just bought it when you felt like it, or in my case then, had the funds. There was only ONE weekend, not two. The headliners were Paul McCartney, (who was epic and played 4 hours!) The Killers, (they were pretty good) and The Cure, (who I didn’t stay Sunday night to see and I regret it all the time) and all the people billed under them were mostly indie bands or bands that were pretty popular who had been indie until recently. But the biggest difference I would have to say is you didn’t think a bunch about your Coachella outfit (s), you just wore whatever helped you not die of heat stroke during the day. I’m going to do all of y’all a favor and share with you a major Coachella outfit or two just for illustration:
Needless to say, a lot of things have changed. For one, my fashion sense is better, thank God! In light of that, I am here to bring you some Coachella outfit inspiration with the different looks I wore during weekend 1.
I do have a confession to make: I didn’t actually go the festival this time around. Honestly, I couldn’t really justify spending that kind of cash on the lineup this year, although I would’ve loved to see Tame Impala and Billie Eilish, but I probably would’ve had a hard time juggling the festival with all the parties that happen weekend one. As a blogger, Coachella is sort of like fashion week, except there are no shows, just tons of events, and your outfits can be so much crazier.
Coachella Outfit: Boho Dresses
I thought this dress was not only the perfect boho look to wear to a Rachel Zoe event, but also the print is PERFECT for Palm Springs….the pastel color and the palm trees and cacti all over it just screams desert chic. Snag one before they’re sold out!
Leave it to Cleobella to always have the perfect boho look for any festival. I’m absolutely in love with the Marigold dress and this pattern!….it reminds me of places I haven’t traveled to yet but keep pinning on my Pinterest.

Coachella Outfit: Swimwear
I love this one piece from Shein. Its adorable as a suit, of course, but I love how it can be easily used as a body suit when you throw some equally bright shorts over the top. Also, its only $11 which makes it such a steal! Of course, I accessorized to the hilt with this summer ready shell necklace from Native Gem layered with my Dream Medallion from Lulu DK.
I don’t know what it is, but I’ve been lovin the one pieces lately! This swim look is super sporty spice and I’m here for it. This suit and jacket are from a brand called KWAY, which is apparently huge in Paris and making its way here, so….you’ve been notified! The great thing about this suit is you can make it as sporty/sexy as you want with the zipper, and this jacket folds in on itself and has waist straps so you can wear it compactly around your waist during the day when its hot, but then bust it out when those temps drop at night.
I am obsessed with this bikini from Beach Bunny Swimwear. The quality of this suit is perfection, and I actually used this bikini top in my outfit later that day….

Coachella Outfit: White Hot, Part 1 and Part 2
What to wear to the Lucky Brand x Rolling Stones party? Um, Lucky Brand of course! I am obsessed with this white boilersuit and love that its kind of a blank canvas you can style however you please. I could see it being equally as cute with some sneakers or dressed up with some heels for a night out!
Lucky for me, there was gifting at the Lucky event….wow, see what I did there! 😉 As the afternoon was a toasty one, I was happy to transform from my Lucky boiler suit to my brand new Lucky denim shorts paired with that bikini top from the previous section. It was the perfect change to head to the Bondi Sands party and show of my faux tan!
Its not a trip to Palm Springs without an impromptu stop in the windmill farm for some epic shots. This outfit was one I really liked and felt very Coachella appropriate. So many sparkles, so little fabric.
This body suit and sheer star dress from Luxe Fashion Line just screamed festival, and I love how they look layered together. I can definitely see myself wearing this sheer dress over swimwear this summer too!

Coachella Outfit: Neon (the Carnival) and otherwise
This outfit is a perfect example of me playing with things that I normally wouldn’t if I wasn’t at a festival. A fishnet bodysuit? Probably not. These army fatigues? Never, but I actually have worn these several times now and I love them! The face jewels are are just the icing on the cake. My favorite thing about them is how great they are for covering up tired undereyes.
Neon Carnival was, without a doubt, my favorite party all weekend. I loved my look and just went all out. If you remember, this is also the romper I wore for my bachelorette in Vegas. Then, and at Neon Carnival, I got compliments GALORE on this beauty. I am happy to say that now you can get this unicorn number at Shein for less than $40. Get it and don’t think twice about it!
