Tis the season to be jolly, and that means a cocktail or two, right? Whether or not you plan on throwing a swanky soiree or just want to decorate every inch of your home for the holidays, getting your Christmas bar cart together is the perfect festive touch! I have teamed up with six other bloggers to bring you seven different takes on the Christmas bar cart!
First up….if you’re in the market for a bar cart, I highly recommend adding one to your home! Even if you’re not a drinker, there are so many fun decor possibilities you can do with them and different ways you can repurpose a bar cart that doesn’t have to with alcohol. Here’s some similar ones to mine that I bought at Target:
In addition to my blogger friends’ takes on the Christmas bar cart, I have a couple of my own interpretations for you. Each of these looks is decorated with an assortment of Christmas decor I either already owned or found recently at Target and Big Lots….I basically repurposed a lot of what I already had around the house, so if you’ve got a decent amount of Christmas decor, you probably have everything you need already for the perfect Christmas bar cart!
Rustic and Warm
If your Christmas decor style is warm and homey, then this version is perfect! I love giving a rustic look a little shine with gold accents!
There’s nothing quite like the classic Christmas combo, am I right? Warm, wood accents, touches of gold and red, and all kinds of pine garlands. This is a more traditional take, but you can never go wrong with tradition!
Girly and Eccentric
Ok, this version is admittedly my favorite!!! How fun are all the girly accents?
If you like to think outside the box when it comes to Christmas decor, this Christmas bar cart will definitely showcase your eccentric style. I love retro Christmas decor because its always a bit kitschy and fun. Ever seen those tinsel trees from the 60’s? If my husband would let me, I’d have a pink one, but since that is out of the question, I find other smaller ways to express my true colorful inner self. This silver tinsel garland is a throwback to your grandma’s tinsel tree, and this sparkly silver tree with colorful ornaments inside is the perfect accent. I left my tiki man on the cart for this one because it gives it that extra retro-kitsch touch!
Winter White
Dreaming of a white Christmas? Me too, but I won’t be getting one! This bar cart will have to do!
You’ll notice on each of these Christmas bar cart combos, I have this snow layer laid down on the bottom shelf. I absolutely loved it like this which is why I left it like that for all three and I think it really worked! Nothing is classier than the white-gold-silver Christmas color scheme, and that’s what I wanted to go for here. Another common denominator in all these looks are these cloche jars from Ikea. I have these incorporated in my home decor all year round, but I love putting fun Christmas elements in them come the holiday season. A pretty combo is a couple bottle brush trees and some fairy lights, it really does look magical, just like the holiday season.
Ok, so now for all the fun ideas from my friends!!! To get extra inspo, check out more Christmas bar cart inspo here:
