Hands down, one of my ABSOLUTE favorite things about blogging is the incredible community of women I’ve been able to meet and befriend. Thanks to blogging, I have friends all over the world and it is all thanks to the internet! One of my favorites, Leeanne of LegalLeeBlonde, came to visit Los Angeles last week, and obviously I had to show her around. We decided to have a little fun and shoot together. Since Lee focuses on workwear on her blog, we went for some EXTRA workwear looks. I’ve never had a typical office job, but if I happened to be a fashion editor (dream job, hello!) then I might rock some chic Chanel vibes like this:

Very Anna Wintour, no? That’s a bit of what I was going for. But mostly, I found all these very Chanel-like pieces and was thrilled at how they came together. There’s nothing like looking expensive but spending less than $200 total on your entire look. I love this “Chanel vibes” look because it is chic and sophisticated and very lady-like. I wouldn’t often get the chance to wear something like this in my everyday life, but when your Canadian blogger friend comes to town, why not be super extra and go to the Beverly Hills Hotel for lunch?

I absolutely loved Lee’s edgier look! Seriously, I would’ve never had so much creativity to put together an office look like this, but I love how she’s working these stirrup leggings. After all, if you can’t be a little extra in your fashion-editor fantasy, when can you be? If you are a working gal, you have to check out Lee’s blog…she shares the most amazing work-wear inspo and I can only hope to look like her when I grow up and get on the job hunt soon!

Honestly, this dress + jacket combo is so inexpensive but I can’t believe how freaking good they look! If you love Chanel, as I do, you can’t miss out on this set, because they really hit the mark and feel quite high quality. I get a lot of questions about Shein and their quality, and while I definitely want to take an entire post to address all my feelings on that topic, just know that this outfit is a WINNER.
