Happy Friday everyone! This post is going to be short and sweet because my brain is just about fried and I am just hanging on a thread till the weekend, BUT, I wanted to share this sort of retro inspired look for you all! I am always down to take fashion cues from the past, so having a little retro influence is something I’m totally into. I do think that there is a fine line between doing retro right and doing it too hard. Unless you are going to a costume party, its important to give a retro look a modern spin to keep it feeling fresh rather than cheesy. In this case, I have this sort of retro printed sweater with a letterman jacket and cat eye sunglasses (very 50’s, am I right?) but I wore them with these wide leg denim culottes and modern heels to give it that modern take. I love this look for fall because it plays with so many different patterns to really give it great visual interest!
