It has been almost two weeks since the death of George Floyd and the start of massive protests for racial equality in the United States. I want to begin this post by saying that I am a little scared as a white woman to speak about this for fear that I may say something wrong, so please know that this post
comes from my heart of wanting to use the platform that I have to help bring change for more equality in our country. I know I can no longer let my fear override the need for me to not be silent on this issue and stand in solidarity with the Black community as they have endured much worse fear worse throughout the history of this country.
My heart has been so heavy and so hurt this week listening to the stories of Black people in my life and on social media share their own personal stories of discrimination and injustice in their lives. It is from this place that I wanted to share Black female content creators in my own field. I know maybe this is just a small thing, but I hope by sharing these Black female content creators perhaps you can find some new accounts to follow for inspiration as I have been inspired by these women over the years. This list is not in order of importance nor is it exhaustive…there are so so many more amazing Black female content creators out there, so if I didn’t mention your favorite, please leave me a comment with their handle and/or website so I can check them out as well! PS….the are actually 20 ladies in this post, I gave ya an extra bonus!

An intriguing discussion is worth comment. There’s no doubt
that that you should publish more on this topic, it may not be
a taboo subject but usually people do not speak about these
topics. To the next! All the best!!
